The Lost of a Loved one / Embrace of the Serpent
Flavio draws inspiration from nature and all its exuberance in his subtropical homeland. By combining cloth, digital printing, performance art and photography the Pacovás were born. Shapeshifting entities, paradoxically natural and impossible, real and imaginary, willed into existence. The Pacovás are the manifestation of a longing for his roots and memories, his transformative and ravenous present and hopeful future. Collages of experiences, explorations and himself.
